Engaging Muslim Students in Public Schools

Frequently asked questions

CEUs, purchase orders, access, and how to get started — answered.

Can I get CEUs (or credit hours) for this?

Yes. EMSIPS has been used by thousands of educators to earn continuing‑education credits. In all states, public schools and districts themselves are the main credit‑hour‑granting bodies. On completion you receive a certificate with your name and a unique serial number. Submit it to your school administration or the appropriate body in your district and request it be added to your credit‑hour transcripts. You can share the CEU information page with the appropriate body for further detail.

Can my school or district use a purchase order?

Yes, we accept purchase orders. They can be emailed in PDF form to info@abrahameducation.com.

Do I need special software or a specific device?

No. The self‑paced course runs in any standard browser and works seamlessly on any device — laptop, phone, iPad, etc.

What if I can’t afford it?

Ask your school administration or your department supervisor whether funding is available. Many teachers aren’t aware that there are often policies — and in some states, laws — requiring schools and districts to be responsive to staff requests for professional development. We also run periodic discounts, particularly during Ramadan. [Confirm/update the current discount link.]

How do I get started after registering?

After you register, you’ll receive an email within 20 minutes with directions to start the course online. Add info@abrahameducation.com to your contacts so the emails reach you, check your spam filter if it hasn’t arrived within 20 minutes, and email us if you still haven’t received a getting‑started email. [Confirm/update the registration link once the new course is live.]

Does my access to the self‑paced course run out?

No. There is no defined expiration date. Once you purchase it, your access is secured and you can take it on your own schedule.

Who teaches the program?

Michael Abraham — a distinguished educator and teacher‑trainer known for lively, engaging delivery and insights educators can’t find elsewhere. Read his bio, see reviews of this training, and request specific letters of recommendation from schools across the country by emailing info@abrahameducation.com.

What if I have questions while taking the course?

Michael communicates frequently with trainees. Reach him any time at info@abrahameducation.com to ask questions while taking the course, and to schedule a virtual meeting at no extra cost if you want to discuss something in depth.

Does this comply with the federal executive orders on DEI programming and merit‑based opportunity?

Yes. First, those executive orders regulate departments of the executive branch of the federal government; public schools and districts are not part of the federal government.

Second, the orders target programming that practices or teaches discrimination based on race in lieu of merit‑based evaluation. EMSIPS does neither. It provides factual information usable by public‑school educators to better engage Muslim students and hold them to higher standards of behavior and academic achievement.

Third, the orders target programming done under the guise of certain strands of academic theory. EMSIPS has never been one of those programs and has always complied with similar state‑level executive orders that predated the current administration in Texas and Virginia.
